Step-by-Step Guide to Using Cetyl Alcohol

1. Determine Usage Rate

• Recommended Usage: 2% - 10% depending on the desired consistency:

  • 2% - 5% for lightweight lotions and serums

  • 5% - 8% for thicker creams and body butters

2. Melt in the Oil Phase
